PROS Plumbing SMS Opt-In Process

Effective September 30, 2026

How consent is collected

  1. A PROS Plumbing employee asks the customer for permission during a phone call or in-person service visit after the customer provides a mobile phone number.
  2. The employee reads the verbal consent script below and asks the customer to answer yes or no.
  3. The employee explains that consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.
  4. Only after the customer says yes, the employee checks the separate SMS consent box in TradeSuite. The system records the consent time and the employee who recorded it.
  5. PROS Plumbing sends a confirmation message identifying the business and repeating the frequency, rate, HELP, and STOP disclosures.

Verbal consent script

PROS Plumbing would like to send you text messages about your appointments, technician arrival, service updates, billing documents, customer support, and post-service satisfaction or review requests. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. Our SMS Terms of Service and SMS Privacy Policy are available online. Do you agree to receive these text messages from PROS Plumbing?

Consent record

A phone number by itself is not treated as permission to text. The customer remains opted out unless the separate consent record is present. Replying STOP changes the customer record to opted out and prevents additional application messages.
